Biofuel on growth

One in five cars sold in Europe will be E85 biofuel capable within four or five years, according to the boss of Saab.

In Sweden already, 13 percent of cars sold use environmentally friendly fuels, the vast bulk of them capable of running on E85, a mixture of 15 percent petrol and 85 percent ethanol produced from renewable crops.

Jan-Ake Jonsson said the Swedish experience is the result of cooperative efforts government and carmakers and the public concern for the environment. BB.
