The all-new Audi RS 5 will go on sale in Ireland from July 2026, with prices starting at €115,000, writes Brian Byrne. Available in both Sedan and Avant body styles, the new RS 5 is Audi Sport’s first high-performance plug-in hybrid, combining a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 engine with an electric motor to deliver 639hp.
Audi says the new model can travel up to 87km on electric power alone (WLTP) and reaches an optional top speed of 285 km/h. A new quattro system debuts in the car.
A nationwide RS 5 Roadshow visited Audi Sport dealerships across the country for two weeks from 17 April.
