Fiat Auto Ireland has introduced a road safety initiative by which it will pay for an advanced driving course for the buyer of every new Fiat car. Pictured at the announcement are Eoin Murray, Racing Driver, Geoff Smyth, MD Fiat Auto Ireland, and Mike Kavanagh, Director, Irish Advanced Motoring.
The programme is undertaken with Irish Advanced Motorists (IAM) and consists of a modular course consisting of two half-day on-road training sessions followed by the IAM Test.
During the course the IAM trainer will identify strengths and weaknesses, demonstrate the standard of driving required to pass the test and will provide coaching on key areas where attention is required.
The Fiat/IAM programme runs from September 1.
