The new Volvo C30 1.6D DRIVe with Start/Stop has been awarded TheGreenCarWebsite.co.uk's Green Car of the Year 2009. The Volvo beat the Toyota Prius and BMW 316d to receive the accolade.
Emitting only 99g/km of CO2, the new C30 variant offers up to 3.8L/100km on a combined cycle resulting in around 1,350 km on one tank of fuel.
The Volvo C30 1.6D DRIVe is one of a range of Volvo DRIVe models that fall into Bands A & B for VRT and Road Tax and therefore qualify under the Government Scrappage Scheme announced in the budget.
