Audi teases new design ethos

They're not showing much, but this is the teaser photo from Audi to prime us for their new design direction to be launched at the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show, writes Brian Byrne.

The showcar will highlight a more sporty ethos of the brand, and may well also provide the basis for a new flagship large coupe model, likely to be called the A9.

The new theme has been developed by Audi's Head of Design, Marc Lichte, who was appointed to the post in February. He has worked with the Volkswagen Group since 1996 on Golf, Passat, Touareg and Phaeton models.
