by Brian Byrne. The Automotive News Europe Woman of the Year Award is to be presented to nine women at the Automotive News Europe Congress in Barcelona on May 5.
The women were the core of a team put together at Volvo to develop its YCC (Your Concept Car) vehicle, a concept designed to meet the requirements of female customers.
Features on the YCC include interchangeable upholstery, easy-to-clean paint, storage for handbag and laptop PC, run-flat tires, and body measuring for optimum seat position.
