by Brian Byrne. The Toyota Aygo, coming to Ireland in September, and its siblings Citroen C1 and Peugeot 107 — due early next year — have been awarded a 4-star rating for adult occupant safety by the Euro NCAP testing programme.
The cars, tested as the Citroen, were awarded 26 points for its adult occupant safety, three stars (36 points) for child protection and two stars (14 points) for pedestrian safety.
