by Brian Byrne Ford has changed its MPV renewal strategy and will now show the next-generation of its Galaxy at Frankfurt instead of the expected production version of the SAV concept shown at Geneva.
That latter car will now get its public debut at the next Geneva show.
The new Galaxy will be based on the Mondeo platform and will be built in the same factory as Mondeo in Ghenk, Belgium.
The current Galaxy was a joint venture with VW and was built at a VW plant in Portugal.
