Having led the event from start to finish, Gareth MacHale took victory on the recent Wastewater Solutions Killarney Forestry Rally in their Toyota Corolla WRC.
MacHale, from Dublin, and his Killarney-based co-driver, Paul Nagle, had already clinched the McCauley Trailers 2005 National Forest Rally Championship title in advance of this, the final round of the series, and their victory on the Castleisland-based event capped a near-perfect year.
