Terios replacement shown

Daihatsu's D-Compact 4x4 concept is believed to be as close to the production replacement for the Terios II as is possible.



It is strongly styled and rather larger than the current compact SUV and has a longer wheelbase.

Power comes from a new 1.5-litre engine and the D-Compact is designed to achieve a high 3-star rating in pedestrian protection tests. Trish Whelan & Brian Byrne.
