Drunken pedestrians leave themselves open to injury or death because their condition means that they are not in a fit state to consider the road safety dangers, RAC Ireland has warned.
Already this year, 56 pedestrians have been killed on Irish roads – a significant percentage of the overall fatalities on our roads.
