Transition year students from Templeogue College in Dublin have found that one in five motorists passing the school exceed the speed limit.
The project, which was sponsored by Semperit tyres and involved 12 students, was assisted by Tele-Traffic who provided speedguns to gauge the speed of passing traffic.
The students carried out a speedgun test on a typical busy morning near to the gates of the school on Templeville Road.
