Opel Ireland is to sponsor the Gaelic Players Association (GPA) to the tune of €3 million over the next three years.
The sponsorship will involve a number of initiatives, of which the immediate centrepiece will be a players awards programme entitled the Opel Gaelic Players Awards.
This scheme will run from February to October each year incorporating both the National League and Championship seasons.
