The all-new 2006 Honda Civic Hybrid, to be launched here yet, has won the 'World Car of the Year Award' for Greenest Car. A jury of 46 international motoring journalists made the award.
The Hybrid is the most economical and environmentally responsible petrol-powered Civic ever, and achieves a combined fuel economy of 4.6 litres per 100km (61.4 mpg). It is powered by IMA (Integrated Motor Assist) technology. Petrol and battery power combine to deliver this performance, maximum fuel efficiency and very low CO2 emissions.
