A Dutchman caught speeding had his car confiscated by police after he said he was only trying to dry it after a wash.
Doing 50 km/h over the city speed limit in Amsterdam, the driver also didn’t have his driving licence with him.
Acknowledging that his car was indeed clean, the police said they were keeping it until he came back to them with a driving licence.
