Volvo has produced a booklet aimed at guiding parents through the complexities of keeping their children safe in cars.
'Children & Cars -- A safety manual' also deals with the safety issues of pregnant women travelling in cars.
Among the pieces of advice, gleaned from a long-running Volvo programme of studying real life accidents, is that for children in safety seats, travelling backwards is by far the best way.
The 35-page publication is available from Volvo dealers as well as through a number of marketing initiatives by Volvo in Ireland. TW.
