Volvo buyers of the 2.0 litre turbodiesel engines used in the C30, S40 and V50 models will be able to order a new dual-clutch automated manual gearbox for those models from the end of February.
The Powershift gearbox has been optimised for the 136hp power units and will provide fully automatic transmission smoothness with the fuel efficiency of a manual trans.
The six speed unit provides CO2 emissions as low as 156 g/km. BB
