Lexus to take on Nurburgring

Lexus will participate in the Nürburgring 24 Hour Race later this month as part of its programme for development of the LF-A sports car.



The 24-hour endurance challenge at the renowned Nürburgring circuit in Germany will run from May 22-25, 2008.

The fully race prepared LF-A participating in the race will be powered by a 4.8 V10 petrol engine with an output of over 500bhp and will be capable of over 320km/h.

Currently Lexus is testing the LF-A at various circuits, particularly at Fuji Speed Way, the home ground of the Lexus 'F' variants.
