Trapattoni is 'Mondeo Man'

New Republic of Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni will have the use of a top-of-the-range new Ford Mondeo, the 2008 Semperit Irish Car of the Year, when he is in Ireland. He is pictured here being greeted by John Delaney, Chief Executive of the FAI.



The new manager’s assistants, Liam Brady and Marco Tardelli, will also each have the use of new Mondeos as part of Ford’s ongoing sponsorship agreement with the Football Association of Ireland (FAI).

Ford Ireland has been the official vehicle supplier to the FAI since 2006 and provides support to the association at national, club and grassroots level.
