VW boss Ferdinand Piech says his company could cut CO2 emissions by 20 percent across its cars range 'in two years'.
That's the amount that VW has to cut by to meet regulations now due to come into place by 2015.
Volkswagen already has around 100 model variants which emit less than 120 g/km, the 2015 fleet target.
