Based on the all-new Ford Fiesta car which arrives in Ireland this month, the Fiesta Van derivative will be available in Ireland from late January 2009.
The van has the 'kinetic design' form language of the three-door passenger car body in which the rear side windows are replaced by body coloured solid panels, and the rear passenger seats are removed to provide space for a clean and step-less load box area.
The load box volume will exceed 1,000 litres, with a maximum useable load length of up to 1292 mm, as well as a maximum load box width of 1278 mm (1004mm between the wheel arches) and heights of up to 936 mm. The load area is shielded from the driver compartment with a standard half-high bulkhead. Tie-down hooks and an optional upper DIN bulkhead extension are available.
Engines available will include the 82hp 1.25 petrol, 68hp 1.4 and 90hp 1.6 turbodiesels.
Prices will from €14,940, including VRT and VAT.
