Renault Ireland has launched the new generation Megane here at a price range of €20,400-€29,100.
It comes in Mégane Hatch and Mégane Coupe formats which are quite distinctively different and aimed at different buying segments.
The cars are the latest from Renault to come with the three-year warranty begun with the current Laguna, under Renault's programme to establish a high quality and reliability ethos.
ESP Dynamic Driving Control with ASR comes as standard on the Monaco and as an optional extra on Royale.
Both variants come with a choice of three diesel engines which offer CO2 bands from 118g/km-134g/km.
The Mégane Hatch will offer the 1.6 16V 110bhp petrol engine which will also be made available in a flexi fuel later in 2009.
