The car is powered by a 1.0 petrol engine and a 1.4 diesel at launch and a brand new 1.33 litre petrol engine will become available later in 2009. This model will feature Stop/Start fuel saving technology.
The C02 emissions from the 1.0 are 99g/km while the 1.4 D4D has emissions of just 104g/km. An automated manual version of the 1.0 petrol is also available with emissions of 110g/km.
From launch, the iQ is available in Strata and Luna specifications. A two-seater version of the 3+1 car is available on special order. The D4D is also a special order from Toyota Ireland.
