New diesel in new Golf

When the sixth generation Volkswagen Golf arrives this month, there will be key interest in a new 2.0 TDI engine, outputting 110ps. It has been developed from the current 1.9 TDI.



That engine will have a CO2 output of 119g/km, putting the car in the most attractive Band A for VRT and Road Tax pricing. There will also be a 1.6 diesel.

The options to be offered in the latest Golf will include Adaptive Chassis Control and Automatic Distance Control.
