Especially with all the furore about SUVs in cities, it might have seemed a little mad of Land Rover to introduce its latest variation on the Freelander 2 theme in the middle of London.
But there was a particular symbolism here. The event was the live launch of the Freelander 2 TD4_e, the first SUV to be provided with Start/Stop technology.
