The new generation Citroen C3, debuting at Frankfurt Motor Show in a month's time, will be the first production Citroen to break the 100g/km CO2 barrier.
With just 99g/km from its most frugal diesel, the new supermini has stronger styling, a panoramic windscreen that flows over the heads of the front occupants, and is 3.9 metres long.
It goes on sale in some European markets early next year.
