The 10 finalists in the Continental Irish Car of the Year 2010 Awards have been selected by the voting members of the Irish Motoring Writers Association.
They are the Honda Accord, Honda Jazz, Kia Soul, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Opel Insignia, Peugeot 3008, Renault Scenic, Renault Kangoo Kar, VW Golf and VW Polo.
In the next round the voting panel will select from these a short list from which the winner will be announced on November 26, at a function in Dublin.
A number of category winners will also be announced on that day.
