Ford will be launching a US-spec Fiesta in the US next year, betting on the idea that there's a continuing shift towards small cars in that market.
The car will be similar to the one familiar in Europe since 2008 and in Asia from earlier this year. Almost 500,000 units have so far been sold globally.
The North American version will have a sedan variant not available here. There will be just one engine, a 119hp 1,6 petrol.
