Can't see so much any more

Bothered about the lack of visibility in your new motor?

You're probably not imagining it, according to UK-based consumer magazine Which? Car. It says all round visibility is generally worse than it was 15 years ago.

Oddly enough, according to research on that island, blind spots only account for around 1 percent of all accidents. Still, that could be worth about 25 fatalities each year in Britain.

Which? Car rates the SmartForTwo Coupe as the best for visibility, followed by the Fiat 500 and then the Citroen C3 Picasso. Ford's Galaxy and VW's Golf Plus round out the top five.

Bottom of the list are Porsche's Boxter, below BMW's Z4 and the Lexus IS 250C cabriolet (with the roof up, of course).

The best visibility score in the magazine's tests was 64.8 percent, while the worst was 31.4 percent.
