This is the Lexus CT 200h and it will break new segment ground for the Toyota owned luxury brand when it goes into production in the autumn.
It's the first full hybrid in the premium compact segment and will be powered by a 1.8 four cylinder engine with electric motor in the familiar Lexus Hybrid Drive format.
The brand will be hyping the fact that Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) emissions will be significantly lower than equivalent diesels, a powertrain more popular in Europe's premium car market. 'Class leading' CO2 emissions are claimed.
The CT 200h will debut next week at Geneva. It has visiual links to the LF-Ch concept shown at Frankfurt last autumn.
