RSA weather warning

With rain showers, overnight temperatures of between 0 and minus 5 and early morning fog, being forecast by Met Eireann, over the weekend, the Road Safety Authority (RSA) is advising road users to be particularly careful.

The areas that will be mainly affected by rain showers are parts of the North, Connaught and East. With overnight temperatures below zero and fog forecast this may lead to icy driving conditions and reduced visibility

The RSA has prepared a guide ‘Severe Weather Advice for Road Users’ which you can download from the RSA’s website.
