RSA to highlight fatigue on Bank Holiday

The Road Safety Authority is to highlight the dangers of driver fatigue over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.

In the run up to the holiday, the Authority will release new research which shows the dangers posed by the lack of sleep to drivers.

The RSA will also air its ‘Driver Fatigue’ radio ad campaign to drive home the message that fighting sleep at the wheel is as dangerous as driving over the drink drive limit.

The RSA has also welcomed the fact that Topaz has shown its commitment to road safety by agreeing to run the ‘Driver Reviver’ campaign again this year in conjunction with the RSA.

As part of the campaign Topaz provides free coffee to drivers on Bank Holiday Fridays at their countrywide network of 109 company owned sites all over the country. Last year Topaz gave away up to 20,000 free coffees each bank holiday weekend.
