This is Suzuki's new mid-sized Kizashi Sport which debuted this week at the New York Motor Show, though without the 3.5 engine it was supposed to have.
The car was to have been powered by a GM-sourced V6, but GM sold its 20 percent interest in the Japanese carmaker in 2008, to the Sport has been shown with a 185hp 2.4 from Suzuki's own range. Volkswagen has taken up a similar connection with Suzuki, and the company is looking at the possibility of sourcing a one of the German brand's turbocharged petrol units for the Sport.
A standard version of the Kizashi has already been introduced to the US market, in FWD and AWD variants, powered by a 2.4 180hp petrol engine.
There's no word yet on a European arrival.
