Green holiday from Irish Ferries

Irish Ferries Haven Holidays is promoting an ‘eco-friendly’ three night break over the weekend of July 16 at Kiln holiday park, near Tenby in South Wales from €581 for up to six people in a ‘Superior’ two-bedroom holiday home. Prices are inclusive of return car ferry crossing from Rosslare to Pembroke or Dublin to Holyhead.

Over the Big Green Weekend, designed to remind us to re-use, recycle and stay green while on holiday, participants will be treated to a night-time bat walk led by the Park Ranger, ‘mini-beast’ hunts, a nature walk through the quagmire and a hog roast party. Also on the agenda is a ‘green’ fancy dress, an ‘eco- treasure hunt’, sports, side-shows, stalls and a competition for the best designed eco-poster.
