Renault will showcase its new softer styling thrust with a concept called DeZir which will go on public view at the Paris Motor Show in October.
The two-seat concept, which is powered by an electric motor, is the first project led by the company's new styling chief Laurens van den Acker, who succeeded Patrick Le Quement last October.
The DeZir is 70mm longer than the Megane coupe. The 'Z' in the name is a reference to Renault's Z.E. (zero emission) strategy. The car is a rear-drive coupe powered by an electric motor mounted in a mid-rear position.
