Revised R-Class on the way

A revised version of the Mercedes-Benz R-Class crossover will go on sale in Ireland in August.

There are detail changes to the front end and the interior, and revised engines.

For Ireland the main powertrain will be the R 300CDI which, at 7.6L/km, is 7 percent more fuel efficient than its predecessor.

There are 2WD and AWD variants, and all have a 7-speed automatic.

The CO2 emissions range 199-232g/km.

Prices start at €79,225.
