Mazda today revealed its new Shinari sports coupe, a four-door concept car that indicates the future design direction for the Japanese brand.
The coupe shows the future face of Mazda's family of vehicles - an aluminium signature wing - as well as the overall styling trend for future production models.
Mazda will use the word Kodo, Japanese for soul of motion, to describe its future design language.
The brand's design studios in Germany, the US and Japan collaborated to create the Shinari's look. However, Mazda has not indicated when the new design will appear on production cars.
The brand is also working to improve the quality level of its interiors for future models, to have fit and finish at the same level of quality as BMW and Audi.
