Skoda in Ireland have launched two new versions of their Yeti SUV, a 1.6 TDI Greenline which is Band A rated for Road Tax, and a 2.0 TDI 4x4.
The former is the first A-rated SUV in its class, and the 105hp model is available from €23,165. There are three grades available.
The 170hp 4x4 version sells from €29,545 and is available in two grades. It uses a 4th generation Haldex electronically-controlled AWD system which is separately programmable for offroad use.
With some 500 copies of the car launched a year ago sold during 2010, the Irish distributor is confident that the augmented range will ensure 1,000 sales of the Yeti in 2011.
