Ford plans to launch al all-electric Focus in Europe early next year, and the company is claiming it will charge in half the time it takes to charge a Nissan Leaf.
The car is one of a trio of Ford electric vehicles debuted this week at the Detroit Auto Show. The others are two variants of the C-MAX, one an extended range version targeted at the Chevrolet Volt, the other a full hybrid.
The Focus Electric will be 'competitive' in price with other batter electric vehicles (BEVs), Ford says.
