Mini has introduced its Mini Cooper SD, the most powerful diesel variant in the brand's line-up.
Prices are from €26,510-33,510.
The new 2.0 143hp is available in all body types - hatch, convertible, Clubman, and Countryman, each delivering more power, frugal fuel consumption and lower C02 emissions.
The Cooper SD is the most performance-orientated diesel Mini in the marque's 52-year history.
The 2.0 offers almost 28 percent more than the Cooper D and nearly 60 percent above that of the One D. It has the highest torque of any Mini engine, even engines with the John Cooper Works family.
The hatch has a top speed of 215km/h and a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 8.1 seconds. Fuel consumption is 4.3 L.100km.
The hatch, Clubman and Convertible are Band A cars while the Countryman is Band B.
