Toyota Ireland has launched its new small MPV here at a starting price of €16,995.
The Verso-S is the successor to the Yaris Verso, which hasn't been on sale in Europe for some years.
It is powered by a 1.33 petrol engine which is in the B CO2 tax bracket here in manual gearbox form, while a CVT automatic variant puts it in Band A.
Stop/Start won't be available in Ireland because it doesn't change the tax rating. A 1.4 diesel option won't be sold here either.
The car is available in three grades, Terra, Luna and Sol.
