This is Citroen's DS5, the latest in its premium level range, writes Brian Byrne. It was revealed at the Shanghai Auto Show, reflecting the importance of that country's growing car market.
It is the first Citroen to feature the HYbrid4 powertrain, with its diesel core engine, offering 200hp with CO2 emissions of just 99g/km.
The car completes the initial DS range, begun with the DS3 based on the C3 supermini, and continued with the DS4 based on the C4 hatch.
