The event, organised by Cork Motor Club, takes place on 13 August.
Representatives from sponsors Mallow Town Council, Mallow Chamber of Commerce and Blackwater Tourism, were led by Mallow Lord Mayor Dan Joe Fitzgerald.
Also on hand were representatives of the Cork Motor Club including Clerk of the Course Paul Casey, as well as the winner of the first two rounds of the championship Owen Murphy (Hankook Mitsubishi Evo 9 driver), along with Mallow drivers Paul Fitzgerald and Jimmy Deane in their Escorts. Owen was pipped at the post last year.
The Rally HQ for the weekend is The Roundabout Inn Hotel in Mallow. A large crowd is expected.
