The new Ford Focus range in Ireland has been completed with the recent arrival of the new Focus Wagon model, writes Trish Whelan. It joins the hatch and saloon introduced last March.
The Wagon has a load capacity of 11516mm3. Prices start at €21,925.
Ireland has not traditionally been a strong market for wagon or estate models unlike most markets across Europe, but there is now a growing interest in these models for the extra versatility they can offer, particularly for families.
The new Focus Wagon is available with a 1.6 petrol or diesel engine and a 2.0 diesel with automatic transmission. The 1.6 diesel, with just 117g/km C02 emissions, is in the lowest priced tax band A, while the 1.6 petrol and 2.0 automatic powertrains fall into tax band B.
