Jaguar has confirmed plans to launch a new 2-seat convertible, the F-Type,
writes Brian Byrne.
This follows strong positive reaction to the C-X16 concept car (above)
shown in 2011. The F-Type will go on sale in mid-2013.
The car will focus on 'stunning' performance, and the all-petrol powertrains will include a brand new engine family.
The confirmation was announced at the New York Auto Show press day. The prototype currently in testing is below.
