Ford has announced an upgrading and standardisation of its service offering as part of its new Ford Service initiative, writes Trish Whelan.
Under the new initiatives Ford customers can receive *free Ford Econo Check driver analysis software to help reduce fuel costs; *free 12 months Roadside Assistance; *and free vehicle health check and service price match guarantee.
Ford say the initiative is a response to the changing market as customers look for value for money, and the best service and most dependable parts available.
Under the Ford Service Promise, available from participating Ford Dealers, customers who have their Ford car serviced can avail of the lowest price servicing with a price match guarantee.
Dave Pimlott, Ford Ireland Customer Service Director says: "The new Ford Service Promise makes our service offering more transparent and competitive with any other offers on the market." He said most Ford dealers now have Master Technicians on their staff who know the Ford range inside out and will automatically check if a customer's car needs to be submitted for any service actions or software upgrades.
