New Audi RS4 Avant heads up A4 range

Audi Ireland have announced price and order information for their all-new Audi RS4 Avant which launches here in September.

The OTR price of €102,725 represents a significant price drop compared to the previous B7 generation.

This latest 4.2 V8 delivers 450bhp, can accelerate from 0-100km/h in only 4.7 seconds and has a governed 250km/h top speed.

The Audi RS4 Avant is 20mm longer, 24mm wider and 20mm lower than the standard A4 Avant.

Standard features include quattro permanent all-wheel drive with sport differential, S-Tronic transmission and FSI technology. It also comes with the lowest fuel consumption and emission figures in its field of competitors.

The exterior design leaves onlookers in no doubt about the car's capabilities. The interior is finished completely in black, with the exception of the roof lining which is optionally available in Moon Silver.

The Audi RS4 Avant was first introduced 12 years ago, and this is the third generation of the car.
