The Volkswagen Golf Blue-e-Motion visits Ireland for the first time this month as part of Volkswagen's international roadshow as it prepares for its entry into the electric vehicle market, writes Trish Whelan.
The electric Golf will be on display at the ESB ecar's Fully Charged 2012 International EV Summit at The National Convention Centre, Dublin, on 11th July and will give an indication of future electric vehicles from Volkswagen. The German brand is set to enter the Irish market with electric vehicles at the end of next year.
During the Fully Charged event, members of the public will be able to test drive a Golf Blue-e-Motion and interact first hand with the latest electric vehicle technology in a car recognised and trusted by motorists for generations.
The Golf Blue-e-Motion roadshow will be visiting a number of selected dealerships in Dublin following the Fully Charged event.
