Audi Ireland have announced pricing and order information for their new Audi Q5 which arrives here in the autumn, writes Trish Whelan.
Prices start at €40,395 for the 2.0TDI 143 version which represents a drop in the previous entry price.
The engine range has been updated and is now 15 percent more efficient than its predecessor.
Redesigned inside and out, the car is now more attractive and sporty than before.
The 2.0TDI 143 emits 139g/km and now qualifies for tax band B. The 2.0TDI 177hp (with S tronic and quattro drive) delivers 47.1mpg on the combined cycle. There's also a 3.0TDI outputting 245bhp and with 580Nm of torque. This V6 diesel has been completely redesigned and now combines the potential for up to 44.1mpg with extra torque over its predecessor.
Transmissions include a manual six-speed as standard. The seven speed S tronic twin-clutch transmission is standard for the 3.0TDI quattro and optional for the 2.0TDI quattro.
The new S Q5 TDI is the brand's first diesel powered S model and is priced at €72,700. It launches here early next year.
Bluetooth interface and spare wheel are now standard across the range as is Start/Stop, as well as new electromechanical steering and suspension revisions. New options include Audi MMI Navigation Plus with online services bringing in-car internet services like Google Earth, Google Street View, online traffic information and internet radio.
The new Q5 is available to order from Audi dealers now with first customer deliveries can be expected in September
