Renault has just issued details of its new fourth generation Clio, which will be debuted at the Paris Motor Show in September, writes Brian Byrne.
The new car uses details promoted in the DeZir concept car, including a very prominent Renault badging, chrome enhanced headlights, all in a curvy 5-door package.
The car has a lower ride height, wider track, and wheels pushed out wide within the arches. The rear doors have 'hidden' handles.
Renault says the latest Clio will have the broadest ever personalisation options for the model, including a 7-inch tablet-type connectivity link with the internet and the driver's other connection preferences.
Power will come from a new 3-cylinder 900cc turbocharged petrol engine, a 1.2 four petrol or a new 90hp version of the 1.5 diesel.
